Use of 'OVER'-
1. It is used when something is not touching to another one-
For Ex- 1. The fan is over our head.
2. There is a bridge over our head.
2. It is used when something is complete-
For Ex- 1. Our English period is over.
2. Time is over.
3. It is used when something goes beyond the limit-
For Ex- 1.Ram is over smart.
2. The water is over flowing from the river.
4. It is preferred when a thing closely touches to another one-
For Ex- 1. My father put a blanket over a baby.
2. She put a newspaper over the paper.
5. It is used in the case of 'more than'-
For Ex- 1. He can see this film because he is over 18.
2. There were over five hundred people in this banquet.
6. It is used in the case of speed also-
For Ex- 1. She drives over 120 mph.
