Verb
Verb is a word which tells us about an action. It is divided in two parts-
1. Main Verb (Finite verb, Principal verb)- It is further divided in two parts-
A. Transitive Verb - It needs object.
B. Intransitive Verb - It does not need object.
2. Helping verb(Auxiliary verb)- It is further divided in two parts-
A. Linking Verb with principal verb
B. Linking Verb without principal verb
C. Modal Auxiliary
Examples-
1. She is writing a letter.

2. He is a gentleman.

2. She is not well.
main v. (intran. v.)
3. He has a pen.

4. He has written a letter.
